35 weeks!
Should I have let being 35 weeks pregnant keep me from going on vacation? Well, I did not. We have been at Universal Studios for 3 days, and though I have not been able to ride any rides, I've still had a fantastic time. I've caught up with old friends, spent a ton of time with Penny in the parks, and gotten in a pool! Since a couple of weeks or so ago, I haven't been able to pick Penny up, so being able to swim together has been great!

34 weeks!
So even though I managed to not take any photos or write a post about it, I was 33 weeks pregnant and am now 34. Please imagine that I regaled you with tales of having a baby the size of a pineapple floating around in there, and the awesomeness of not being able to close your raincoat in a downpour. This week, both Penny and Alex have gotten to feel the New Kid's hiccups, which are dramatic. He remains incredibly active, and is now the size of a cantaloupe. The weather has remained remarkably agreeable for this pregnant lady, with only one night too hot to sleep without an air conditioner, and rain keeping the heat and humidity down. So far so good!

graduation day!
i don't know whether you can tell from this side by side comparison, but she is way bigger, and has much more of a girl face than a baby face. she walked herself to school pretty much every day, except for the days when we sledded, she can write all of the letters, can write her name in hebrew, has learned about space and the ocean and butterflies and so many things i can hardly believe it. she's such a friendly, happy person and she is so gosh darn smart i hardly know how to handle it. i am so proud of this four and an almost half year old that i'm practically busting at the seams.
here is the longish video of her class' graduation performance:

32 weeks!
We started off the day with an ultrasound appointment, where we got to see the New Kid snoozing on his hands in a most adorable way, yawn and stretch! The tech let us know that she sees a full head of hair, and predicts a birth weight of 7 lbs, 10 oz (Penny was 7lbs 7 oz for comparison purposes). He is definitely a little kickboxer, and I am enjoying watching the very dramatic rippling that goes on in my abdomen.
According to the website that emails me every week, he is now the size of a large jicama, so, you know...there you are.

31 weeks!
We're moving right along here, getting bigger and bigger. Penny can now reach light switches, grab a loaf of bread from on top of the microwave and make her own sandwiches. I can walk upwards of a block and a half before becomimg utterly exhausted. I had my first night of zero sleep due to the New Kid's gymnastics, and last night Penny fell asleep at 6pm. She is probably going to be three inches taller in next week's photo.
